Product Relationship Filters let you recommend products that have a direct relationship with the current product. WowRecommend includes 4 relationship filters.
To use one, select the Relationship tab from the Products to Be Recommended Filter section. The filters are:
- Related Products – Recommend products linked as related to the current product.
- Upsell Products – Recommend products assigned as upsells for the current product.
- Cross-sell Products – Recommend products assigned as cross-sells for the current product.
- Complementary / Bought Together Products – Recommend products frequently purchased together with the current product.
1. Related Products
The Related Products filter recommends products linked as related to the current product.
This filter only has the Is condition. It means WowRecommend will use products that are related to the current product as recommendation candidates.
2. Upsell Products
The Upsell Products filter recommends products assigned as upsells for the current product.
This filter only has the Is condition. It means WowRecommend will use products assigned as upsells for the current product.
3. Cross-sell Products
The Cross-sell Products filter recommends products assigned as cross-sells for the current product.
This filter only has the Is condition. It means WowRecommend will use products assigned as cross-sells for the current product.
4. Complementary / Bought Together Products
The Complementary / Bought Together Products filter recommends products that customers have purchased together with the current product.
This filter has one condition, In, which works with a time-period value to find products purchased together with the current product. Choose the time period WowRecommend should use to check previous purchases: last 7, 14, 30, or 60 days.
For example, selecting Last 30 days lets WowRecommend recommend products purchased with the current product in the previous 30 days.
