The AI Rule Builder gives you two easier ways to create and update product recommendations without manually configuring every setting. It contains three sections:

• Using Guided Steps – Build a recommendation by selecting suggested goals and options. This works even without an AI provider connected.
• Setting Up API Keys – Connect an AI provider through the WordPress AI Client and Connectors system.
• AI Chat Recommendation – Create and modify recommendations by describing what you want in natural language.

The AI Recommendation Chat button is available at the bottom-right of each target page in the Recommendation Rules Builder.

Using Guided Steps Without AI

If no AI provider is connected, a notice appears at the bottom of the chat panel, and the natural-language input remains unavailable.

You can still use all the Guided Steps above the notice normally.

To enable natural-language conversations as well, connect an AI provider as described in Setting Up API Keys.
