URL / Link Field
The URL / Link Field allows your customers to input a URL address. This can be useful for various scenarios. For example, allowing customers to provide a link to a design reference or a product URL to be printed on a t-shirt.
After adding the URL / Link Field addon, you will find the following customization settings on the left-hand side:
Required: Enable this box to make it mandatory for the customer to enter a URL before they can add the product to their cart.
Hide Title: Enable this option if you want to hide the main “Field Title” label on the product page.
Field Title: Enter a descriptive label for this URL input field.
Price Position: Choose whether to show the price alongside the Title or the product Option.
Placeholder: Enter placeholder text here. This text will appear inside the input field as a hint to the customer about what kind of URL to enter.
Price Type: Choose the type of pricing for the addon. Select from Fixed or Percentage, or offer the addon for free.
Pricing Amount: Set the extra charge for the addon. You can set a regular price and a sales price.
Mail Field
The Email Field allows your customers to provide their email address. You can use it for different purposes – sending coupons, custom prints, and future communication.
The addon customization is very similar to that of the URL addon.
Here are the settings you will find:
– Customize the field title
– Set placeholder text
– Set pricing (fixed, percentage, no cost) and customize their placement
– Show the pricing as regular or sales pricing
